Bruce Springsteen’s 16th studio album has the feel of a celebration to it, following the election of Barack Obama.

The optimism of the title track, “My Lucky Day” and “Kingdom of Days” suggest that he thinks that a new era is coming in the US.

The album is another collaboration with the E Street Band and shows Springsteen’s continuing empathy with working class people, and his ability to knock out a corking tune.
