Bosses at Balfour Beatty this week sent another letter to every electrician threatening to sack them if they don’t sign up to pay cuts.
The letter now claims everyone who doesn’t sign will be sacked on 9 January. It adds up to a series of threats to try to get workers to sign up.
It even says signing under protest “will lead to you losing your job”.
But the workers ignored Balfour’s December deadline and walked out unofficially. The firm is on the back foot.
