After three one-day strikes at API Foils in Livingstone, bosses have reached an agreement with the workers’ Unite union.
They have committed to respect collective bargaining agreements with the union and pledged an additional 1 percent pay increase.
Workers began what was set to be a three-month programme of Friday strikes when the company removed union facilities for activists and changed employees’ terms and conditions without consultation.
“Our members are absolutely delighted with the outcome that all items that led to the dispute have been resolved,” said Unite regional officer Gillian McKay.
