Workers at Atos Healthcare and Atos IT services have voted to strike over pay.
The result came out on the same day that Atos chairman Thierry Breton sent an email to all staff bragging about the firm’s profits.
Atos is a “worldwide partner” of the Olympic Games. It also carries out assessments on behalf of the government to kick disabled people off benefits.
The two ballots covered more than 1,500 workers, including 400 administrative and reception staff at the assessment centres. A strike could force them to close.
Others work on support for the BBC and the Welsh Assembly and contracts for MoT test centres.
