London marches to save NHS

On 15 September marches against hospital cuts are set to hit four London boroughs.

Activists in south London are building a march from Woolwich. Hospitals could face cuts and privatisation now that South London NHS has gone into adminstration.

And in the north London boroughs of Ealing, Brent and Hammersmith three marches will oppose the closure of four of the area’s eight A&E departments. “Everyone we talk to is outraged,” said Ealing campaigner Judy Shapter.
