A group of south London lecturers were set to strike against cuts on Wednesday of this week.
The UCU union members at Lewisham and Southwark Colleges, or LeSoCo, backed strikes by 86 percent in a recent ballot. Some 96 percent backed action short of a strike.
They will protest from 1pm at the Lewisham Way campus and strike for an hour from 1.45pm.
