NUT union members at George Monoux college in east London were set to strike on Thursday of this week.
The walkout is the first in a dispute over the victimisation of an NUT rep at the college.
Jerry Kelly from Waltham Forest NUT told Socialist Worker, “There will be further strikes if we don’t get a result from the strike on Thursday”.
This follows Labour's proscription of the direct action group last year
