Close vote over Labour support at Scottish TUC
The Scottish TUC conference, which met in Glasgow this week, showed the growing disillusion with Labour in the trade union movement.
The general council voted by 14-13 to release a statement calling for a vote for Labour in the 3 May Scottish parliament elections. It is unheard of for the vote to be that close. Over 70 delegates attended a Stop the War meeting on Tuesday.
