Trade unionists in Sussex were set to hold a conference on building the fightback on Saturday of this week.
The event takes place at the University of Brighton, backed by four trades councils and several unions.
Speakers include Billy Hayes, general secretary of the CWU union, Turkish socialist Ron Margulies and Brighton bin workers.
