Woodhead in the money

Chris Woodhead, the former head of the Ofsted schools inspectorate, this week became the latest to try to profit from the government's drive to privatise our schools.

Woodhead caused lasting damage to education in Britain during his years as the head of Ofsted. Now he wants city investors to stump up some £70 million to help his Real Education company set up a chain of independent schools.
