Oxford: When we were shown the Leighton propaganda DVD we objected because of the foul language in it. They had to stop it.
Plymouth: During the work listening and learning session (management propaganda time) we all turned our chairs round away from the manager.
West Midlands: The DVD has not been shown in several offices because the plasma screens are mysteriously not working!
West London: The campaign over post office closures has to be pushed up high in our arguments.
Let's get the public onside by arguing clearly for no closures, and decently paid staff throughout the industry.
Swindon area: Management are provoking people. At one delivery unit they have told eight people they are to be leave reserves (covering for others on sick/holiday) and these eight deliveries will be split between the rest of the office – with no extra pay.
We have to stand together, win the ballot big and get all these changes withdrawn.
East London: Let's keep pushing for every vote for action. There is a great mood, but let's not be complacent about the result.
royalmailchat.co.uk: Leighton and Crozier hope that postal workers will commit the industrial version of suicide. This would give them a solid mandate to slash and burn their way across our industry.
But I've a feeling that the huge army of underpaid, grossly overworked, and yet despite that, dedicated, postal workers, will deliver a blow that will rock Leighton and Crozier.
