Love Music Hate Racism CD and DVD for use in schools and colleges

Issue No. 2068

The National Union of Teachers (NUT) has teamed up with Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR) and Unite Against Fascism to produce two new educational resources aimed at teaching school students about anti-fascist activism.

A new LMHR schools’ CD will be released on 13 October on the cover of the NME music magazine, featuring exclusive tracks from artists such as Bloc Party, Hard-Fi and Lethal Bizzle. NUT branches are encouraged to bulk order CD sleeves and download copies of the album.

Teachers can also order copies of a special 20 minute version of Alan Miles’s film Who Shot The Sheriff? Narrated by Ms Dynamite, the DVD focuses on the history of the Rock Against Racism movement of the 1970s.

For more details on how to obtain copies of the CD and DVD go to the LMHR website at »
