Two weeks to nominate candidates for NUT elections

by Nick Grant, Ealing NUT
Issue No. 2069

Branches of the NUT teachers’ union have two weeks to nominate candidates for its national officers’ elections.

The key contest will be for the two vice-president places.

The Socialist Teachers Alliance (STA) candidate is Roger King, secretary of Birmingham NUT and a leading black trade unionist.

The STA is also calling for a nomination for Gill Goodswen from Kirklees NUT branch.

Activists should be fighting for this.
