Russian Revolution 90th Anniversary

Issue No. 2070

The Edinburgh People’s Festival and Edinburgh May Day Committee are hosting this celebration concert to mark 90 years since the Russian Revolution.

The evening brings together work from playwright Tony Griffiths – co-writer of the film Reds – with comedy from Vladimir McTavish, Raymond Mearns and Tony Carter.

Musical entertainment is provided by The Malkies, socialist folk singer Alistair Hulett’s new band, in their very first Scottish gig.

Tickets cost £7 or £4 for concessions and can be booked from The Stand’s website or by phoning 0131 558 7272.
