Red raffle

Issue No. 1732

Congratualations to the three lucky readers who have won prizes in the Red Raffle.

The raffle was in support of the Socialist Worker £200,000 Appeal. It was drawn at last Sunday's showing of La Commune, about when workers seized power in Paris in 1871. The film was attended by some 260 people in support of the appeal.

First prize of flights for two to Mexico went to Liz Tucker of Neath in South Wales.

Second prize of an iMac computer went to Mike Thompson of Leicester.

Third prize of £100 worth of books from the Bookmarks socialist bookshop went to Lisa Harwood of Woolwich in London.

Our appeal has now broken through its target, with a grand total so far of £203,470. Many thanks to all those who have sent us donations. Send in any last minute contributions. Socialist Worker Appeal, PO Box 82, London E3 3LH Make cheques payable to SW Appeal
