Over 500 people joined an angry demonstration in London against foreign intervention in Somalia on Saturday of last week.

Delegations from the Somali community in Britain travelled from many parts of the country to join the protest.

Demonstrators shouted against the Ethiopian invasion of the country that has seen many civilians killed.

“The US is behind the killing in Somalia,” said Mustafa Daacad, who is a student at Birkbeck College.

“Ethiopia is a Third World country – they couldn’t do this without US backing.”
