Demonstrate against fascists speaking at Oxford Union

Issue No. 2078

Students, local residents and trade unionists in Oxford are joining forces to protest against the Oxford Union debating society’s decision to host an evening headlined by two Nazis – Nick Griffin and David Irving – on Monday of next week.

A rally against fascism was due to be held on Tuesday of this week to help build for the protest outside the debating society meeting.

People will assemble at 7pm on Monday 26 November on Cornmarket Street in central Oxford.

The demonstration has been called by Oxford Unite Against Fascism and is supported by Oxford University Students Union, Oxford & District trades council, Oxford University Labour Club and Oxfordshire Unison health branch, among others.
