The campaign continues to defend leading health trade unionist Yunus Bakhsh.
Yunus, one of the best-known activists in the Unison union, has been suspended from work for more than a year.
He is being victimised for his trade union activities.
He has spent the period since then with the threat of summary dismissal hanging over his head.
Yunus has been a nurse for 23 years and he is a life long trade unionist and socialist.
He has now submitted an Employment Tribunal claim for action short of dismissal for trade union duties.
The case has been listed for hearing for a period of five days beginning on 31 March 2008.
Such a hearing, if it is fair, will bring out into the open what has been a example of the victimisation of an active trade unionist who is prepared to stand up for the members he represents and the services they provide.
Since Yunus has been suspended the NHS trust has pushed through closures and cuts and is moving to foundation status.
Yunus has widespread backing. He needs that support to mobilise in his defence and raise funds for his campaign.
