UNREPORTED World is an interesting new TV documentary series starting this week. Unreported World's aim is to 'highlight the effects of globalisation on the world'. It shows footage that you don't normally get to see.
One programme includes footage from Chechnya showing the devastation caused by Russian president Vladimir Putin's brutal war on the country. Another reveals how the US war on drugs is affecting farmers in Bolivia who grow the coca crop. The film includes a demonstration and mass rally by the farmers defying the armed Bolivian soldiers.
Unreported World, 7.30-8pm, Fridays, Channel 4. The series runs for six weeks from 14 September.
