THE GOVERNMENT wants to flog off all council housing by the end of the decade. The government's housing policy is a tangled web. A new 48-page pamphlet, The Case for Council Housing, unravels that web.
It contains a collection of articles by tenants, trade unionists, campaigners, MPs and MSPs. All the writings are welded together by a passion for good quality, affordable public housing.
In a clear and concise way the pamphlet addresses a whole number of questions. This pamphlet is invaluable to anyone opposing privatisation. Make full use of it on Saturday 22 September, Stand Up For Council Housing day. Go around your local estates and get organised.
