Keele lecturers to boycott student assessment

Issue No. 2098

Keele University lecturers, who have been under threat of redundancy since last December, are continuing to fight back.

This week members of the UCU union in the School of Economic and Management Studies – where 38 out of 67 are at risk – are being balloted on a boycott of student assessment.

Other industrial action short of a strike, in operation since February, is continuing across the university.

Keele UCU is also asking the national union to “greylist” Keele, which would lead to a national and international academic boycott.
