MI5 in Pakistan: tortured for lies

Issue No. 2099

The British MI5 secret service colluded in torture and the Labour government is lying about it. A 33-year old man from Manchester has said that he had three fingernails ripped out after hours of being beaten and whipped.

He said Pakistani agents asked a series of questions while torturing him. The torture would then stop and British agents would enter the room and ask the same set of questions to which he would give the same answers.

The British government has denied any involvement in torture. It is lying, just as it did over its involvement in “rendition” flights, where British airports were used in the kidnap and transportation of people to be tortured.

These revelations of torture show how deep Britain is embedded in the disaster that is the “war on terror”.
