Left success in Unison elections

Issue No. 2106

The election to the service group executives of Unison saw left candidates poll well.

Socialist Worker supporters won three seats, with John McDermott and Dave Hughes winning in local government and Janet Maiden in health.

This was despite three Socialist Worker supporters being excluded from standing in the elections.
