Hundreds of sixth formers and other students greeted Tony Blair with a noisy protest against tuition fees outside the Welsh Labour Party conference in Swansea last week.
Sixth formers at the Bishop Gore School began protesting outside their school with posters and chanting at cars. They won support for a march to the Labour conference from pupils at another school, Olchfa.
When Blair arrived at the conference he was greeted with chants from school and Swansea University students. One sixth former, Mileene, said, 'We are doing it because education is a right, not a privilege.'
