Socialist Worker

No Such Thing as Society

Issue No. 2114

This photographic exhibition takes its name from Margaret Thatcher’s famous right wing statement.

It explores Britain between the late 1960s and the 1980s through the photography of Martin Parr, Keith Arnatt, Peter Mitchell and many more.

It depicts the unrest associated with Thatcherism, with pictures of the Miners’ Strike and Northern Ireland.
