The Off the Shelf Literature Festival

Issue No. 2123

The Off the Shelf Literature Festival features readings by well-known authors, workshops, storytelling, competitions, and literary walks.

The festival is now in its 17th year and features over 150 events.

The programme includes readings by major authors and poets.

It provides a platform for local authors and writers’ groups – as well as organising lots of half term events for children, competitions, along and a few quirky literary events.

Ticket prices are kept as low as possible and many events, particularly in libraries, are free.
