What’s Gone Wrong in Unison conference

Issue No. 2125

Activists on the left in the Unison union have organised a national conference, What’s Gone Wrong in Unison.

The move follows the success of conference fringe meetings that have demanded a more democratic union and an end to the witch-hunting of socialists

The conference will discuss ways to unite the various campaigns and plan a way forward.

There will be a discussion about the need for a political and electoral challenge to the present Unison leadership.

The meeting is on Saturday 22 November, 12 noon to 4pm, Birmingham and Midland Institute, Margaret Street, Birmingham, B3 3BS. £5 registration fee payable on the door.
