Around 100 people came to a Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR) gig in Stafford on Friday of last week organised by community website »

Speakers from LMHR and the local Race Equality Council stressed the need for action against the fascist British National Party (BNP) and urged people to vote against them.

“It was a fantastic night – the audience was really broad,” said Lauren, a local LMHR activist who organised the gig.

More LMHR gigs are planned for the near future in both Stafford and nearby Stoke-on-Trent, which has been heavily targeted by the BNP.
