More than 40 supporters of the People Before Profit Charter demonstrated outside the Halifax bank in Hackney, east London, last Saturday.
The protesters were demanding an end to home repossessions and City bonuses.
The group included local trade unionists and activists from the Turkish and Kurdish community.
Halifax has been taken under public ownership as part of the government’s bank bailout plan.
The protest finished with a short march to the local branch of the Woolworths chain, which is threatened with closure.
