Socialist Worker

Movements For Peace

by Mark Krantz
Issue No. 2130

This informative, well-documented and inspiring 50th anniversary exhibition of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) starts with a film of the first CND march to Aldermaston in 1958.

This was when the CND logo was first used.

As a symbol for peace and nuclear disarmament, it has now become globally recognised. This is testimony to the impact CND has made over the last 50 years. Well worth a visit.

Movements For Peace
Salford Museum and Art Gallery, the Crescent, Salford.
Until 25 January
