Southampton Institute cleaners strike

AROUND 120 cleaners working at Southampton Institute stuck on Monday over pay and job losses.

The cleaners are employed by MacLellan and are paid just £4.80 an hour. Management at the university have now threatened to cut their cleaning contract, leading to job losses.
