A march has been called for Saturday 11 April to demand justice for Ian Tomlinson and an end to police violence.
Ian Tomlinson’s death not long after an unprovoked assault by riot police has sent shockwaves through Britain.
The march will gather at Bethnal Green Police Station and then proceed to the spot in the City of London where Ian died.
People have been asked to wear black and bring flowers to lay where Ian died.
It is important that everyone who was on the demonstrations, civil liberties campaigners and other activists attend the demonstration and send a clear message that this tragic event must be the end of police repression and a demand for justice.
Assemble 11.30am, Saturday 11 April at Bethnal Green Police Station, 12 Victoria Park Square, Tower Hamlets, London, E2.
