Bosses explain to strikers how to occupy

Human Resource managers are starting to take note of resistance to job cuts. Personnel Today, their house magazine, has two articles of interest to Socialist Worker readers.

The article ”Dismissing unofficial strikers: Shoot first and ask questions later?” is fairly predictable of the management approach.

But the one headlined ”Dealing with strikers occupying employer’s premises” is a useful guide to the law – from the wrong side of course.

It includes, ”Trying to take steps to forcibly remove employees or former employees is risky – both legally and potentially from a PR perspective and could amount to assault.”
