Terror racist is jailed

Issue No. 2169

A white supremacist who was planning a campaign of terror against black and Asian people was sentenced at the Old Bailey last week.

Police who searched the Reading home of Neil Lewington last October found bomb making equipment along with a notebook entitled Waffen SS Members’ Handbook.

Lewington had written a “mission statement” targeting “non-British” people.

The Old Bailey judge said that Lewington’s “action was designed to intimidate non-white people and it was for the purpose of pursuing the ideological cause of white supremacy and neo-fascism, albeit in a rather unsophisticated way.”
