Good vote for Portugal's Left Bloc

Issue No. 2171

Portugal’s Left Bloc got 10 percent of the vote in last Sunday’s general election, securing 16 MPs.

The governing Socialist Party – Portugal’s equivalent of the Labour Party – won the election, but lost its overall majority.
