UK Border Agency workers vote for action

Issue No. 2175

Some 130 members of the PCS union at the UK Border Agency have voted by 97 percent for action.

The staff, who work at juxtaposed controls in Calais, Dunkirk, Coquelles and Boulogne, voted for strikes over plans to scrap allowances for day and night shifts.

Workers could lose over £500 a month in allowances.
