Racists fail to show in Newport

by UAF Cardiff
Issue No. 2175

It was another great day for anti-fascists last Saturday in Newport, Wales.

After their humiliating defeat in Swansea the previous week, the racist thugs of the Welsh Defence League (WDL) failed to turn up to a planned “protest”.

Instead hundreds of people joined the Unite Against Fascism march and rally.

People clapped, cheered and joined the march along the way.

It showed we can unite to defeat the fascists—whether they are in the British National Party (BNP), the WDL, or whatever other name they use.

We have made the message loud and clear—Nazis are not welcome in Wales.
