Stop the racist SDL in Glasgow

Issue No. 2176

The next stop for the anti-Nazi movement is Glasgow on Saturday 14 November when the Scottish Defence League (SDL) plans to protest outside the Central Mosque.

Anti-fascists have shown their commitment to defending their Muslim brothers and sisters at packed meetings across the city.

A wide range of groups have come together under the banner of “Scotland United Against Racism & Fascism” to oppose the SDL.

Assemble at Glasgow Green at 12 noon on the day.

UAF activists ruined BNP leader Nick Griffin’s day in Scotland last week.

They protested outside the offices of the L107 radio station in Hamilton as it held an interview with him. They also forced Griffin to abandon plans for a walkabout in the Springburn, Glasgow, where his party has a candidate in a local by‑election.
