Autistic rights campaign meets

The London Autistic Rights Movement held a public meeting on Wednesday of last week to discuss the government’s Equalities Bill and threatened cuts to disability benefits.

Disability activist Simone Aspis spoke, highlighting how the bill is useless if someone can claim they had “no reason to believe” a person was disabled.

And the meeting highlighted the government’s plans to force disabled people into work.
