Waltham Forest school fights on

Issue No. 2179

Teachers in the NUT union at Norlington School, east London, are continuing their fight after three days of strike action.

They are trying to stop the school being turned into a privately-run Trust school sponsored by the Institute of Education.

Last week school governors voted for the plan despite a lobby against it. The NUT has pledged to continue the campaign.
