Habib Ullah vigil planned

Issue No. 2182

The family and friends of Habib “Paps” Ullah, who died in police custody last year, are to hold a vigil on what would have been Habib’s 41st birthday.

Habib died of “breathing difficulties” while being arrested during a routine stop and search.

Campaign spokesperson Saqib Deshmukh says that since July 2008 there have been five deaths in custody in Buckinghamshire.

The vigil will take place at 4pm, Sunday 20 December, outside High Wycombe police station
