Shaped by War: Photographs by Don McCullin

Issue No. 2189

McCullin is famous for his photographs of the Vietnam war. But he also photographed many of the other conflicts that have shaped the modern era.

This exhibition has some of his images of Lebanon’s civil war of 1976-82, the Israeli-Arab “Six Day War” in 1967, the Falklands war and others.

He also photographed the early years of Catholic resistance to British troops in Northern Ireland in the 1970s.
