THOUSANDS OF activists across the world are making 15 February an international day of demonstrations against war on Iraq. They are doing so as US military analysts tell of a 'near unstoppable momentum towards war' by late February.
And they are doing so as secret documents printed in the Washington Post show that US defence secretary Donald Rumsfeld was deeply involved in supporting Iraq's use of chemical and biological weapons 15 years ago. Demonstrations are already planned in dozens of countries, and scores more are expected to join them.
The Stop the War Coalition will be marching in London on that day-and will protest across Britain if war starts before then.
