BA cabin crew vote for strike action

by Sadie Robinson
Issue No. 2189

Cabin crew workers at British Airways have voted overwhelmingly for strike action against attacks on their jobs, pay and conditions.

Workers voted by over 80 percent for action on a turnout of over 78 percent.

Workers will meet at a mass meeting on Thursday to decide what action to take.

BA bosses have prepared a big scabbing operation to try and break any strikes.

The Unite union should organise extended, militant action that can win.
