The Tories are a party of lobbyists

Issue No. 2190

Tory leader David Cameron is complaining that the Labour government loves up to sleazy parliamentary lobbyists. And yes, that’s true.

But Cameron leads a shadow cabinet where six of his

frontbench members are employed by public affairs or public relations firms.

A further 21 Tory candidates standing at the next election are lobbyists or corporate spin doctors.
