Emergency protest against EDL rally outside parliament this Friday

The English Defence League (EDL) are rallying outside parliament to support racist Dutch politician Geert Wilders this Friday and Unite Against Fascism (UAF) are calling on anti fascists to join a counter protest against them

Issue No. 2191

Geert Wilders is coming to London on Friday to speak in parliament and show his racist film Fitna. He has been invited by UKIP leader, and lifelong member of the House of Lords, Malcolm Everard MacLaren Pearson.

He was banned the last time he tried to enter Britain because of his inflammatory remarks about Muslims and Islam, but the ban was overturned.

The English Defence League, champions of Wilders, is planning to rally outside parliament to show their support.

Wilders describes the Netherlands, a country with a Muslim population of 6 percent, as facing a “tsunami of Islamification” and has said that a “head rag tax” should be issued on Muslim women who wear headscarves.

Wilders is a racist. His coming to the UK will bolster the BNP’s election campaign and the EDL’s street riots.

Assemble 10:45am, Friday 5 March, College Green (opposite the Houses of Parliament), London. For information contact 020 78012782.
