New Labour wants to cover up Guantanamo links

by John Clossick
Issue No. 2192

New Labour is determined to continue its cover-up of MI5 collusion with Guantanamo Bay.

London resident Shaker Aamer has been in Guantanamo Bay for eight years without charge or trial.

The US cleared him for release in 2007 but has demanded that he be placed under a control order.

The British re-stated this week that they cannot arrange this in advance of a London court decision—for which he needs to be here!

Shaker has witnessed the deaths of prisoners, has been a prisoners’ leader and advocate in Guantanamo, and has himself been grievously tortured.

He is a man whose new revelations US and British governments now fear.
