The march in Brighton

Over 600 people took to the streets of Brighton demanding jobs, services and no bail outs for the rich last Saturday.

The protest, called by Brighton, Hove and district trades council, was the biggest local demonstration in Brighton for many years.

Various campaigns came together, from the struggle against cuts at Brighton and Sussex universities to nursery workers who are fighting closure and privatisation. Workers at BA, and PCS union members who are striking this week also attended.
