LOSS: Up to £30 a week for delivering junk mail, and £12 a week early shift allowance

GAIN: £20.60 a week increase in basic pay in deliveries, £8 a week in mail centres

LOSS:12,000 job losses pushed through mail centres with everyone forced to work longer hours in order to make up the difference

GAIN: Lump sum payments before 2012 of £1,400—mostly money already earned under the “colleague share” bonus scheme

LOSS:Longer delivery rounds and Saturdays treated as a normal working day GAIN: 1 hour off the working week, maternity pay up from 18 weeks to 26 weeks
