Visteon protest one year on

Issue No. 2193

Former workers at the Ford-Visteon car parts firm are to demonstrate at parliament on Wednesday 31 March.

The protest will mark a year since Visteon sacked workers with no notice and no redundancy pay. This sparked occupations at its plants in Belfast, Enfield, and Basildon that forced the company to pay out.

But workers continue to campaign for pension justice.

Demonstration leaves Unite’s union offices in London, on Theobald’s Road, Holborn, at 12 noon. Go to » for more details.
